About Us

Rutschmann Schwaibold Partner was founded in 2001 by a team of experienced lawyers. Since then, the firm has grown through the joining of two former professors of the University of Zurich (Prof. Dr. h.c. Heinrich Honsell and Prof. Dr. Isaak Meier) and other business lawyers. All partners had previously worked for years in larger law firms in Zurich and offer many years of experience in selected areas of expertise.

We all think and act economically, advise our clients accordingly and also enforce their rights in court. The focus of our practice lies, on the one hand, in Business Law and Insovency Law with all its facets and, on the other hand, in Media Law, Right to Privacy, Public Planning and Construction Law, Intellectual Property Rights and Employment Law. We place particular emphasis on providing personal and solution-oriented advice whilst maintaining a lean structure. In this way, we cater to the needs of clients who feel uncomfortable when faced with the anonymity of large law firms but who still want access to the expertise of specialists.

As a team, however, we are also capable of handling large and labor-intensive cases. Moreover, we have a well-established network - both national and international - of specialized lawyers, trustees, tax advisors etc., whose expert services we can draw on whenever required.
