As lawyers we are used to working alone, but at the same time we can always call upon the knowledge, the experience and the strengths of our partners in order to bolster our expertise. We have two things in common: we all mainly deal with business law and we all focus our energy on providing the right solution for each client.

Matthias Geiser has expertise in unbundling severe conflicts with several parties. Besides this, his core areas are public planning and construction law, environmental law and litigation.He regularly represents his clients in negotiations and in drafting contracts.

Marco Habrik likes to handle employment law issues. As a Certified Specialist SBA Employment Law, he is active in the field of employment law, with interfaces to corporate law, both in an advisory and litigation capacity. He also has extensive and broad experience in other areas of commercial and contract law as well as in the field of litigation.

Kaspar Meng likes creating clear structures in order to deal with complex situations. His expertise includes drawing up contracts in all areas of business, copyright law and employment law. He guides parties to a constructive solution and represents his clients with perseverance, either out of court or, if necessary, before all courts.

Felix Rutschmann brings with him a great deal of experience from different professions. He loves complex cases, challenging disputes and playing with figures. He is therefore right at home with reorganization proceedings as well as with problems arising in corporate law, in property law, and in debt enforcement and bankruptcy law.

Dr. Matthias Schwaibold has distinguished himself as a media lawyer. His areas of expertise are particularly personality rights and data protection as well as any legal issues concerning media contents and the distribution thereof. Having been a board member of several companies for many years, he is also well versed in all issues relating to corporate management.

Hans Weissberg is an experienced litigator and has for a long time been active in the field of litigation funding (both court and arbitration proceedings). Furthermore, his areas of expertise include drafting complex contracts and giving advice on matters of commercial law and corporate law.

Prof. Dr. Isaak Meier was a professor at the University of Zurich until January 2016. He is an experienced consultant and expert on all matters relating to national and international civil procedural law. As a member of the commission of experts on the revision of the Swiss insolvency law, he is in a position to present solutions even for the most difficult legal problems. One of his core skills is mediation in all kinds of legal conflicts. Isaak Meier advises and supports medium-sized and big law firms as well as legal departments of major companies in matters of internal and external further legal education.

Of Counsel

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Heinrich Honsell is not only well known as author and editor of numerous literary works on all aspects of civil law, but he is also an experienced independent expert and arbitrator. As a university professor in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, he enjoys excellent international relations. He has been of counsel to Rutschmann Schwaibold Partner since 2007.
