Academic background and professional career
Hans Weissberg graduated in law from the University of Zurich in 1981 and first worked at the District Court of Zurich in the division for civil and criminal cases. After having been admitted to the bar in 1985, he worked in the legal department of a bank and of an international auditing firm. In 1994 Hans Weissberg opened his own law firm. From 2001 to 2009 he was a partner in an internationally oriented law firm in Zurich which specialized in business law. Since 2008 Hans Weissberg has been working in the field of litigation funding. He joined Rutschmann Schwaibold Partner at the beginning of 2012.
Preferred areas of practice
Hans Weissberg offers legal advice to his clients on a wide range of issues in business law and in civil law. The core practice areas in which he counsels his clients and represents them in court as well as in administrative proceedings are: corporate, contract and commercial law, intellectual property rights, debt enforcement and bankruptcy law, administrator, marital as well as inheritance law and asset planning.
